# 6th of October Technological University

October University of Technology (also called the 6th of October Technological University) is a public Egyptian university established in 2021 under Law No. 72 of 2019, which governs Egypt's technological universities; study began in October 2022. It is located in 6th of October City, Giza Governorate, on a campus of about 49,000 square metres, and grants professional-technology degrees at four levels: professional diploma, professional bachelor's, professional master's and professional doctorate. The university is oriented toward applied, labor-market-aligned education, teaches in both Arabic and English, and is headed by Prof. Dr. Heba Salem.
