# Luxor National University

Luxor National University (جامعة الأقصر الأهلية) is a national (al-Ahliyya) university established by Presidential Decree No. 265, headquartered in New Tiba City in Luxor Governorate, with studies beginning in the 2025/2026 academic year. It blends Luxor's deep civilizational heritage with modern fields such as artificial intelligence, tourism and archaeology, languages and translation, and the arts and design. The university follows a credit-hour, program-based model and is led by President Prof. Dr. Sabreen Gaber Abdel-Galil.
