# European Universities in Egypt

The European Universities in Egypt (EUE) is a private higher-education institution in Egypt's New Administrative Capital, established in 2021 under Law No. 162/2018 and Presidential Decree No. 86/2021. It follows a transnational education model, hosting branches of European universities on a single campus and delivering undergraduate, graduate and professional programmes taught in English. EUE currently hosts the University of London, the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and the University of East London (UEL), and serves as a recognised teaching centre for the University of London.
