# Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST)

The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) is an Egyptian national research university in New Borg El Arab, Alexandria, established in 2009 by Presidential Decree No. 149 of 2009 under a bilateral Egypt–Japan partnership. It teaches in English and applies Japanese educational and research standards, supported by Japan through JICA and a Japanese Supporting University Consortium. The university is organized into six faculties, with the Faculty of Engineering subdivided into three schools spanning electronics and computing, innovative design, and energy/environment/chemical engineering.
