Borg El Arab Technological University (BATU) is a governmental Egyptian technological university in the universities zone of New Borg El Arab city, Alexandria Governorate, created under Egypt's technological-universities framework (Law No. 72 of 2019), with study beginning in September 2022. It focuses on applied, labor-market-oriented education through two faculties: Industrial and Energy Technology, and Applied Health Sciences Technology. Programs emphasize hands-on training in fields such as railway technology, food industries, textiles, information technology, and applied health specialties, and technological universities of this type grant technology-track degrees from diploma up through bachelor level and beyond.
