Beni Suef Technological University (BTU) is an Egyptian public technological university established in 2019 under Law No. 72 of 2019, which created Egypt's first generation of technological universities. Located in Beni Suef New City in Upper Egypt, it focuses on applied, hands-on technological education leading to professional degrees in technology, from higher diploma through doctorate. Its academic home is the Egyptian-Korean Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology, which offers program tracks in fields such as mechatronics, autotronics, information and communication technology, and renewable energy.
